If your embossing hasn’t been turning out quite right, it could simply be the plate combination you’re using 👀

There are two different types of embossing folders, and each requires a different “sandwich” in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine:

✨ Standard embossing folders

Use Plate 1 (Base) + BOTH Plate 3s

✨ 3D embossing folders

Use Plate 1 (Base) + Plate 4

⚠️ In most cases, the wrong combination won’t go through your machine and forcing it can damage your plates or even break your embossing folder. Too little pressure can also result in a patchy, uneven impression.

Using the correct combination ensures the right amount of pressure for a crisp, even result every time ✨
