Tip for the week:

Tip for the week:

Due to the nature of vellum being a little thinner than regular cardstock it can be easily cut through when using dies.

Sometimes this can cause an issue if the die is not meant to be cut the whole way through as is the case with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box dies.

Handy tip, I put a piece of paper between the vellum and the die before putting it through the die 'cutting' machine and hey presto all is fine!

You can see in the second photo where the die has cut through the middle square of the paper (but not the vellum).

The mini curvy keepsake box in my photo was a gift I gave to a fellow demo (friend) at our Charity Day and I placed a battery operated tea light inside.

Do you use vellum in your projects and cards?
